We at Lompoc First are a group of people who believe in serving God with joy in our hearts. You will find that we Trust and live each day with Respect for the Lord and yet have fun together as we reach out to our community. We are a church with a statement that we hope you will find to be a fact.

"A Church Where Friends Are Made!" We believe that as we connect with each other and trust God Wholeheartedly, ONE DAY AT A TIME, great and mighty works of God will be evident in our lives. You will find that our ministry times for Adults, Youth, and Children center on the fact that Jesus is our help and therefore we can indeed trust in Him!

We find that our Worship creates within us a hunger for the Word of God which leads us to action in serving Him in whatever way possible. All of our outreach, ministry and fellowship opportunities are geared with the family in mind. We do not overwork or burden people. We desire to encourage and assist you in the areas of ministry in which you feel God has called you to be a part of. You will find freedom here to spend quality time with your family, yourself and still be active in the service to God!

We would love to have you make this your church home. Will we appeal to everyone? No. Are we a "perfect" church? No. Is there one? No. We are just people who understand we have abilities and yet we need GOD to put it all together for us. We hope you would find this the right place for you to fit in and belong!

We here at Lompoc First, know prayer can work miracles in our lives. Everything that we do is first made an issue in prayer. It is one area that can be so routine, yet it needs to happen on a consistent basis in our lives. Below you will find our statement of our beliefs.

What we believe.....

  • The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
  • There is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory.
  • The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.
  • Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
  • The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
